They split up in 1956. 1952: High Noon, starring Gary Cooper and Grace Kelly, opens. 1965: Bob Dylan's single Like a Rolling Stone is released by Columbia Records. 1979: Little Richard (known as the Rev. Richard Penniman) speaks to a revival meeting in San Francisco about the dangers of rock 'n' roll. 1984: Vanessa Williams becomes the first Miss America to resign her title, after nude photographs of her are published in Penthouse. 1990: Comedian Roseanne Barr sings the national anthem in San Diego before a Major League Baseball game, spits, then scratches herself. The crowd boos, and she later apologizes. 1998: Actress Jodie Foster gives birth to a boy in Los Angeles. She refuses to say who the father is or how she got pregnant. 2001: Mariah Carey checks herself into a hospital, suffering from an emotional and physical breakdown. 2002: Jennifer Lopez files for divorce from her second husband, Cris Judd. Says he "Put it on your coffee table, and let the guests in your house find the delicious subject by which to spend an evening talking about."
