NEW YORK — Dina Lohan says her daughter Lindsay isn't an alcoholic and that people are wrong to assume that she's a club-hopping party mom.

"Oh, the party mom, the party mom, the party mom!" Mrs. Lohan exclaimed. "Whoever said that, my ex-husband or whatever, I'm not the party mom!" Lindsay's mother flatly informed Harpers Bazaar .

Her 20-year-old daughter checked into the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles in January, and her publicist confirmed in December that Lindsay was attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

Mrs. Lohan says her daughter isn’t an alcoholic. “Noooo! She is just a 20-year-old who had to reel it in. And she’s from an addictive personality genetically,” she told Harper's Bazaar.  “Lindsay had to fall and get up,” she says. “I knew it was coming. I told her, but finally she was like, ‘Mommy, I had to do it myself.' "

Anna Nicole's diaries sold for over $500,000

Anna Nicole Smith's personal diaries from 1992 to 1994 were sold on eBay on Thursday morning for more than $500,000 to a German businessman, TMZ.com reports. The German fan outbid people from around the world -- even somebody in the Bahamas.

The seller claimed the diaries included the Playboy Playmate's confessions about: her best lover, details of events with her mother, a weekend getaway with Guess Jeans chairman Paul Marciano and her true feelings about sex. How long until this stuff turns up in a movie?

LONDON — Lawyers for Britney Spears won a British court injunction Thursday designed to prevent publication of stories about her recent stay in rehab.

The injunction bars unidentified “person or persons ... who has/have been leaking information about Ms. Spears’ time in a rehabilitation clinic from further disclosures invading her privacy,” says the 25-year-old pop star’s London law firm. The injunction was issued at the High Court by Judge Charles Gray.

Spears left Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility in California “after successfully completing their program,” her manager, Larry Rudolph, said this week. He asked that Spears’ privacy be respected. She entered the facility Feb. 22 after a bout of bizarre behavior that included shaving her head, getting tiny lips tattooed on her wrist and beating a car with an umbrella.

The star's law firm says Spears wanted the court to force media outlets that had printed stories about her time in rehab to reveal their sources so that the source of the leak could be identified “and action can be taken against him/her.”

LONDON — Material girl, indeed.  A line of clothing co-designed by pop queen Madonna went on sale around the world Thursday in branches of Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz.

 Pieces in the M by Madonna collection, co-designed by H&M design chief Margareta van den Bosch, include a leather trench coat, sequined shift dresses, cream-colored calf-length pants and matching cropped jackets.

 In Britain, the items are priced between $16 and $295.

 “I am a Madonna fan, but the reason I am buying the clothes is that they are very nice and feminine and the prices are very reasonable,” said Magda Grabowik, 32, as she lined up to pay for a coat, jacket and dresses at H&M’s Oxford Street shop in central London.
