Gensler opens Austin office

The Gensler architecture and design firm said Monday that it has opened an office in Austin to serve the growing demand for its services in Central Texas.
The San Francisco-based firm’s Central Texas clients include Dimensional Fund Advisors in Austin and Patrinely Group, which is developing a corporate headquarters for Tesoro in San Antonio.
Todd Runkle will be the office director in Austin.
Gensler also is in the process of tripling the size of its Dallas office because of business growth.
It plans to move to new office near the southeast corner of LBJ Freeway and the Dallas North Tollway by this end of this month.
Gensler has more than 3,000 employees at 30 offices worldwide.
