A Minnesota-based company is building a new industrial facility in Rockwall.
North American Composites Co. will construct a 26,500-square-foot distribution center in the Rockwall Technology Park, the Rockwall Economic Development Corp. said Wednesday.
The St. Paul company is a national distributor of fiberglass, resin, and other.
Construction is scheduled to begin in late spring on the $2.2 million project at Observation Trail and Technology Way.
“With this new building, the park has attracted over $60 million in new investment to Rockwall,” Dr. Gene Burton, chairman of the Rockwall Economic Development Corp., said in a statement.
The 275-acre Rockwall Technology Park opened in 2000 and now has 10 businesses with more than 678,000 square feet of commercial space.
