Energy firm EXCO Resources Inc. has doubled its North Dallas headquarters space.

Building owner Younan Properties said Wednesday that the oil and gas firm has expanded and extended its office lease by two floors in the Lakeside Square building at 12377 Merit Drive near North Central Expressway and LBJ Freeway.

The company has had its operations in the building for five years, according to Younan vice president John Cook.

The seven year lease expansion and additional space needs were arranged by Jeff Staubach and Steve Thelen with Staubach Co. and Celeste Fowden and Burson Holman of CB Richard Ellis.

With the new commitment, EXCO is the largest tenant in the North Dallas high-rise with 120,000 square feet.
