Family First is a "news heavy" campaign, with frequent news reports, series, in-depth special assignments, and documentaries showing people and programs which are helping families grow stronger. The project also includes monthly town meetings, vignettes, public service sponsorships, live programs, a 48-page resource book, family movie reviews, a family day at the area zoos, special events and more.

At Family First, we offer "solution-oriented" information to help make families strong, healthy and safe. In our role as a television station, we do not advocate that any one size, shape or style of family is right. Instead, our goal is to inform, educate and effect change by letting viewers know what works for different families.

Family First has stimulated conversation in North Texas, and helped families find solutions within their own communities and their own lives.
