Scrape, rather than rinse, dishes before loading into the dishwasher; wash only full loads.

•SLIDESHOW: EarthFest cleanupIt's part street festival and part educations workshop. For Earth Day, the City of Dallas, Downtown Dallas, Keep Dallas Beautiful, and EPA Region 6 hosted the EarthFest Festival in downtown Dallas.
Exhibitors that focus on a variety of environmental topics and issues will be featured. Some of the booths include environmentally friendly gardening, sustainable building, recycling of electronics, Earth friendly products for the home, high efficiency/low impact transportation options. There was also a fashion show of designs created out of recyclable materials and live music.
