Q: Does Gov. Perry or the President know that Texas is burning?  You cannot stop a tornado, but with enough resources, you can stop a fire.  When do we get concerned?  When Ft. Worth is threatened?

Carol

Q: concerning the out of control fires. When I was at Marine Corps training I fought fire with fire, meaning we were target shooting at the time and a tracer round started a grass fire. I took the tracers out of my M14 magazine and out the fire by shooting at the grass fire as it attempted to spread. My suggestion is evacuate and fight fire with fire. Use military fighter jets or planes to drop bombs in front of the fire to extinguish the fires. The process would be like blowing out a match in a larger scale of course. It is a gamble but may work or at least slow down the flames. I am praying for our fireman's safety and that the Lord sends some rain soon. I did two tours in Vietnam: once a Marine always a Marine!

Q: Why are you not showing the camera views from a helicopter over sportsman’s world inside Hell’s Gate you showed at Noon today (April 19) any more. You only show that one house in Gaines Bend. Please show the views you showed at noon today. Why not? I don’t understand.

Greg

A: Thank you for the unique perspectives on our wildfire coverage.  To Greg’s question, the WFAA Chopper was moved from Palo Pinto County fires back to D-FW the afternoon of April 19 for severe weather coverage.
