DALLAS — If you think it's cold already, it's about to get even colder.

Get ready for frost in parts of the WFAA viewing area early Monday morning.

North Texas was still blanketed by clouds at 10 p.m. Sunday, and temperatures in the region were in the upper 40s and low 50s. But once those clouds dissipate, temperatures will begin to tumble.

Overnight readings could dip to the mid-30sin the northern suburbs, with the low 40s in urban areas.

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. for Denton County and areas to the north and west of Dallas-Fort Worth.

But this is Texas, right? A big warmup is in the forecast, along with some wet weather.
