Poll:
Will you place a bet in Wednesday's Powerball drawing?

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — No one hit the $300 million Powerball jackpot on Saturday, but a ticket sold in Texas got about as close as you can.

The quick pick ticket dispensed at a Big Diamond in Houston had five of the five winning numbers, missing only the Powerball number. Because it was sold with the "Power Play" option, the $1 million prize was doubled to $2 million.

The winning numbers Saturday were 21, 24, 36, 42 and 45; the Powerball was 15.

The top prize, however, remained elusive, so the money will roll over: A cool $400 million for the next drawing.

While hefty, the prize for Wednesday's drawing is still well below the record $590.5 million jackpot won in May by an 84-year-old Florida woman.

The odds of matching all six numbers are 1 in 175.2 million.

Powerball is played in 43 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
