It may be time to get on board with a plan to build a high speed passenger train from Dallas to Houston.

The Federal Railroad Administration just gave a thumbs-up to the proposal.

The next step is for the Texas Department of Transportation to work with federal leaders to review the proposal.

Texas Central Railway says the train will whisk passengers between Dallas and Houston in 90 minutes by by 2021.
