SAN ANTONIO – Five frat brothers allegedly scaled the walls of SeaWorld San Antonio early Wednesday looking for adventure, but instead, found the police.
According to San Antonio police investigators, the men, who are all in their 20s, broke into the park just after 2 a.m.
It’s believed they were carrying out a prank that could be connected to the park’s animals. However, SAPD investigators said they could only prove the men broke into a storage area and ate ice cream.
The men were spotted by park security who then called SAPD. Officers caught two of the men and took them into custody. The other three remain at large.
Duc Nguyen, 23, and Huy May, 18, were charged with criminal trespassing. They are both said to be from the Houston area.
SeaWorld released the following statement:
“SeaWorld is working with San Antonio law enforcement to investigate individuals who were unlawfully trespassing early this morning. San Antonio Police Department has custody of two individuals, and SeaWorld has not found any animals harmed as a result of this morning’s event.”
