HARRIS COUNTY -- One person is dead and another is being transported to a local hospital after a small plane crashed into a building at Hooks Airport Sunday evening in northwest Harris County, officials confirmed.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, they received a call at 7:15 p.m. that the plane, a Cessa 172, had crashed from the runway at the airport located at 8830 Boudreaux Road.
