A North Texas trucker jailed in Mexico will have his arrest re-enacted Thursday afternoon.
Jabin Bogan has been behind bars since April, when he said he tried to make a U-turn at a border-crossing bridge after his GPS misdirected him.
Bogan's truck was loaded with ammunition and Mexican authorities charged him with smuggling.
A conviction could send him to prison for 30 years.
The court ordered the re-enactment after new evidence suggested a border agent told Bogan to make the turn around into Mexico.
WFAA's Cynthia Izaguirre talked with his mother, Aletha Smith, about the development in the investigation and how it just so happens to occurring on his birthday.
