Man plunges to his death after falling 18 stories into San Antonio River

SAN ANTONIO -- A man plunged to his death after falling 18 stories from a downtown hotel into the San Antonio River. The incident was reported at the Hilton in the 200 block of South Alamo. According to investigators, a couple left NIOSA and reportedly got into a heated argument. A woman told police there was a scuffle between the two and she reported received bruises and minor injuries. She told police her husband walked out of the hotel room onto the balcony and closed the door. The woman told police she went to check on her husband a few minutes later when she noticed he had fallen into the river. Authorities said all their information was gathered from the woman and the investigation continues.

The incident was reported at the Hilton in the 200 block of South Alamo.

According to investigators, a couple left NIOSA and reportedly got into a heated argument. A woman told police there was a scuffle between the two and she reportedly received bruises and minor injuries.
