Texas Gov. Rick Perry says he is open to another presidential run.
"Our legislature will be leaving in approximately 55 days, and hopefully with a great budget put together and continuing to make Texas the epicenter of growth in this country," the governor said. "At that particular point in time, I'll sit down with friends and family and make a decision about 2016."
Perry made a bid for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, but after a series of gaffes during speeches and the debates, he pulled out.
On Sunday, the governor will be at First Baptist Dallas to attend the official dedication of the church's new $130 million downtown campus. He will make brief remarks as well.
The church celebrated the grand opening one week ago on Easter Sunday, holding its first services in its new Worship Center.
