COLLEGE STATION, Texas — A big announcement is coming from Texas A&M on Monday, but University officials won't say what it's about.
The Texas Tribune reports the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services plans a simultaneous Monday news conference to name the institution that will develop vaccines and medicines to protect the public health in emergencies.
The center will help train the bio-pharmaceutical workforce of the future.
A&M has been working for some time to host one of those biotech centers.
