FORT WORTH — There is a very lucky lottery ticket holder in North Texas on Mother's Day.
That person hit the $28 million Lotto Texas jackpot in Saturday night's drawing with a "quick pick" ticket purchased at Crossroad Shell on Western Center Boulevard in Fort Worth.
The winning numbers were 13-36-38-45-46-49 and the person with that ticket holds a "cash value option" for the prize.
The Shell station posted a sign Sunday afternoon proclaiming it the home of a big winner; the store will get a piece of the prize money, and is hoping to hear from Texas Lottery officials on Monday.
More than 23,000 other players won some money in Saturday's Lotto Texas drawing, ranging from 14 who correctly guessed five out of the six numbers for $3,040 to 22,267 who had three correct numbers for a $3 prize.
