AUSTIN -- State troopers, police officers and sheriff's deputies will be out in full force starting Monday, ticketing drivers and passengers who aren't buckled up.
It's all part of TxDOT's annual "Click It or Ticket" campaign.
The agency is expecting more citations this year than ever before.
Fines can go up to $200 per person.
In 2013, 943 people who died on Texas roads were not wearing seat belts. More than 5,000 others suffered serious injuries.
