SAN ANTONIO -- The past 48 hours have been marred with the deaths of three teen girls killed on San Antonio roadways.
The latest death occurred late Wednesday night on Weidner Road near I-35.
According to San Antonio police, 16-year-old Andrea Reyna was driving east on Weidner Road when she lost control and rolled her vehicle while going around a curve.
Investigators said she was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Reyna's death comes two days after two Brandeis High School students died from injuries suffered in a accident during their lunch break.
The two girls have been identified as 17-year-old Gabriella Lerma and 16-year-old Gina Rodriguez.
The girls were hospitalized on Tuesday after a friend who was driving attempted to pass a large truck on the Loop 1604 access road but did not realize the truck was turning left onto Hausman Road.
The car they were riding in smashed into a utility pole.
Lerma died that day.
Rodriguez was taken off life support early Wednesday morning and died sometime overnight.
The driver and the front seat passenger were still recovering in the hospital as of Thursday morning.
