HOUSTON—It’s the end of an era in Houston. Continental’s final flight to Houston landed at Bush International Airport on Saturday.
A water cannon salute greeted the aircraft as it landed at 12:10 p.m.
From now on, all Continental flights will be known as United flights. Continental’s official Web site shut down at 1 a.m. Saturday and all traffic was redirected to United.com as the two airlines' reservation systems were merged.
