Do you have a certain artist that you love, but you want to hear just one song and maybe a few other songs in that same genre?
Well, if you are like me there is not enough room on my iPod, iPad or phone to cover whatever I want to hear.
But, apps like Pandora Radio, Lastfm and AOL Radio can all allow you to listen to the style of music you like.

((PANDORA))
PANDORA Radio is a free app. This app allows you to log in and create a radio station for you favorite group or singer or style of music. It will play one song from that pick and then search for similar songs or sounds.
You start by entering an artist name, a song title or even a style of music like jazz.
It will start playing. If you don't like a song, you can skip it..up to six times in one hour.
You cannot skip or rewind a song.
It is not perfect. You can't access outside the US and there are a few other glitches. It can confuse the names of songs sometimes.

((LAST.FM)
This app is also free.
You need to set up and log into LAST.FM and create your own radio stations. Again this is based on artist names or tags.
You can enter a tag like "chill" and you'll be presented with a list of different types of relaxed music.
Type in an artist name and you are presented with various music and you can find out what other listeners find popular.
You can pick your next song by similar artist.
The plus with this app is that it can be used outside the US, so this is great for international travelers.

((AOL Radio))
AOL Radio is free too.
It is a bit different from Pandora and Last.fm.
It is not just music. There are at least three comedy stations. You can pick from news, sports and talk radio as well....just like on local FM and AM stations. Get this, no commercial interruptions. You'll see the station logo periodically.
There are limitations. No track skipping or artist selection.
Reviews show this is not as impressive as PANDORA and LAST.FM, BUT there is talk and sports stations.
