The Galaxy S 4 hit the market nearly two weeks ago and according to Samsung officials it is designed to make life richer, simpler and fuller.
The company introduced the Galaxy S III last year with much success. The company sold 40 million Galaxy S 3s in just seven months. Less than a year later consumers are now able to get the next generation of the popular phone.
Nick DiCarlo, Samsung Vice President of Product Planning, said the GS4 will change how consumers interact with a smart phone and deliver an experience that enhances everyday activities and is safe for work.
So he was asked what would make the GS4 the phone to buy?
“The screen is bigger,“ said DiCarlo. “The height is exactly the same. It’s a little bit narrower, a little bit thinner, but most importantly the batteries a bit bigger.”
The Galaxy S 4 is 5.38 inches wide, has a 5 inch display screen, and weighs 4.59 ounces. The battery power gives users up to 17 hours for talk time. That is about four hours more than the Samsung Galaxy S III.
What may set the Galaxy S 4 apart from other smart phones is the camera. It has a 13 megapixels camera, but several new shooting modes to capture the best pictures possible.
-Dual camera feature lets you shoot simultaneously with the front and back camera, and it uses both images in the same photo or video.
-Eraser shot feature allows you can remove unwanted photo bombers from a once-in-a-lifetime photo. The eraser ends the photo bombing antics that have become so popular.
-Drama shot gives you professional photographer ability in a phone’s camera. This feature allows the user to take up to 100 shots in short burst and combine the multiple exposures into one shot.
The phone’s cost is equivalent to other smartphones on the market with cost starting at $149. It is sold by all major carriers and Best Buy stores.
