Non-profit provides sonar to rescue crews to speed agonizing wait

For rescuers trying to find a drowning victim in area lakes, the search is in total darkness. Side Scan Sonar provides rescuerers a clearer view. It's important equipment, to rescuers and to families. That's why the Fugates formed a non-profit, called the BMF Project for Search and Rescue. It donates sonar equipment and training to North Texas fire departments.
