After a dispute with the city of Plano, the owners of the Carpenter House sold it to a young couple who will make it their own home. That means all the antiques and everything inside the 115-year-old residence and wedding venue has to go.

The Carpenter House is located in the middle of a neighborhood. Some of those neighbors complained about noise and parking. The zoning was for a bed and breakfast, not an assembly hall.

"If you're putting on a wedding by yourself or your daughter, this would be a fabulous place to come because you could not possibly buy or even rent for some of the prices we put on these things," said Anita Hall of A Family Estate Sale, who is running the four-day event.

The estate sale begins at 4 p.m. on Thursday afternoon and runs through Sunday. The Carpenter House is located at 1211 East 16th Street in Plano.
