GARLAND - Traffic was congested for hours after an 18-wheeler truck crashed into a guardrail, overturning against a median on westbound Interstate 30 and the President George Bush Turnpike this morning in Garland.
The driver was hauling 18,000 pounds of medical supplies. There were no injuries.
Traffic was forced down to one westbound lane as investigators and crews worked at the scene. Crews eventually got the 18-wheeler upright using a makeshift pulley system at the scene.
