Neil Gorsuch to become 113th U.S. Supreme Court Justice

WASHINGTON -- Neil Gorsuch becomes the 113th justice of the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday.

The Senate confirmed his nomination 54-45 Friday, after a tough battle on Capitol Hill.

Gorsuch fills the seat vacated by the late Justice Antonin Scalia and brings the high court back to its full strength of nine seats.

President Trump will attend Gorsuch's swearing-in ceremony, which begins at 10 a.m. local time.
