District 33 - Republican
I was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, and raised by loving parents, Faye and Frank Bradley. While attending Arlington Heights High School I took a job loading trucks in a warehouse to pay for my first Chevrolet. I continued in that job, lived at home, and paid for my education at Texas Christian University, graduating in 1968.
After graduating from TCU I taught as a teaching assistant at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, completing my M.A. in 1970. In addition, my graduate thesis, "The Environmental Impact of Petroleum Development Along the Alaskan North Slope", currently resides in the library of Kansas State University. As a result of that conservative environmental research I was offered a government position within the Department of the Interior which I declined.
My business career focused on medical marketing, and small business management. My wife and I saved and planned, allowing me to retire in my late fifties. My incredible wife Betty has been with me for thirty plus years. I have been blessed with two sons and a daughter, and two grandchildren. My daughter teaches in the Ft. Worth ISD and graduated from Texas Christian University. My youngest son recently graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and is now engaged in industrial sales in the Houston area. My oldest son also graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University, and is a proud member of the United States Air Force, and recently returned from his first Afghanistan deployment.Read More
