2017 Runoff Elections today

The 2017 Runoff Election results are coming in, and many cities already have a new mayor or new city council members.

In Dallas County, final election results are delayed as officials continue to investigate mail-in ballots for alleged voter fraud.

LIVE BLOG OF ELECTION RESULTS:

9:57 p.m. Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins says assisted mail-in voter ballots will be sequestered and checked over after allegations of voter fraud. This means Dallas County races won't be called tonight.

So far all three incumbents for Dallas City Council spots, Monica R. Alonzo, Tiffinni A. Young, and Erik Wilson are losing their races, but the final results won't be posted until Sunday evening or Monday morning.

9:35 p.m. Lana Wolff wins Arlington City Council District 5 race with 782 votes over Dakota Loupe's 662.

9:20 p.m. Carl Clemlencich wins Allen Council Place 2 race with 2,004 votes to Tabassum "Munia" Ahmad's 1,000.

9:16 p.m. Arlington City Council District 3 race called with Roxanne Thalman receiving 925 votes and Marvin Sutton receiving 922.

9:09 p.m. Tag Green wins Keller City Council District 6 race with 2,200 votes over Mitch Holmes' 1,937.

9:06 p.m. Pat McGrail wins Keller Mayor's race with 2,143 votes over Rick Barnes' 2,094. 

8:46 p.m. Ricky Brown wins Haltom City Council Place 6 race with 332 votes over Linda "Lin" Thompson's 256. Don Duff wins Denton's City Council District 3 race with 1,283 votes over Paul Meltzer's 1,231.

8:20 p.m. Dan Chisholm wins River Oaks Council 5 169-127 over Sal Limas.

7:02 p.m. Early voting results are in.

  • Pat McGrail is barely leading the Keller mayor's race with 1,478 votes to Rick Barnes' 1,475.
  • Carlos E. Flores is leading Fort Worth City Council's District 2 race with 854 votes to Steve Thornton's 673.
  • Omar Narvaez, Kevin Fielder, and Tennell Atkins are leading their races for places on Dallas' City Council.

7 p.m. Polls closed for this year's 2017 Runoff Elections. Voters were choosing between candidates who were too close in the votes to call back in May's election.
