DALLAS — Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price says he's "hot" after learning that hundreds of voters might not have known where to cast their ballot in the November 3 elections.
The problem? The contractor in charge of printing mailers about polling place changes never got the job done.
"This isn't about cost-cutting measures," Price said. "This is about a vendor who gave three different excuses about whether or not he delivered on his contract."
Price said those excuses included:
- the regular staffer was on maternity leave
- a computer disc went missing
- the contractor ran out of printing paper
Price assures voters he will look into the matter.
