DALLAS — Funeral services have now been set for former Dallas City Council member Al Lipscomb.
The 86-year-old civil rights activist died Saturday after a prolonged illness.
A public viewing will take place at the Hall of State building at Dallas Fair Park on Thursday and Friday starting at noon.
A wake is scheduled Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the same location.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Friendship-West Baptist Church, 2020 West Wheatland Road, in Dallas.
