Royce West (D-Dallas) about the Texas Democratic Convention coming to Dallas June 26-28. West is chairman of the Convention, and said he expects thousands of delegates to attend what he calls “the people’s convention.”
Texas Republicans have finally released their platform. Headlines across the country blasted it; even GOP Chairman Steve Munisteri criticized one element of it. State Rep. Matt Krause (R-Fort Worth) attended the convention in Fort Worth two weeks ago, and joins us to discuss how "reparative therapy" for homosexuals made it into the party's platform.
