ARLINGTON — Funeral arrangements have been announced for Arlington's "boy mayor" and civic legend, Tom Vandergriff.
Vandergriff — who also served as a Texas Congressman and Tarrant County Judge — died Thursday at age 74.
There will be public visitation on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Tarrant County Sub-Courthouse at 700 East Abram Street in Arlington.
Vandergriff's memorial service is set for Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Texas Hall at the University of Texas at Arlington. It expected to last two hours.
A private, family service and burial will follow.
