FORT WORTH — Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price is back on her bike.
She made her first ride Sunday following a nasty spill in June, when Price suffered a concussion and a broken collarbone.
The mayor is an avid cyclist, and couldn't wait to get behind the handlebars again.
"I got back on my bike this morning, rode 22 miles, it felt great!" she said. "First time out in about seven weeks... more than just around the block, so it was fabulous. I can't wait... we'll be back with our Wednesday night rolling town halls this week."
Price is known for leading bike rides with the public on Wednesday nights. Her staff continued the mobile meetings in her absence.
