TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Tulsa Regional Chamber and its partners in northeastern Oklahoma are scheduled to announce the region's list of priorities for the 2013 legislative session.
The agenda is to be released Thursday during a meeting in downtown Tulsa.
The 2013 session opens Feb. 4.
The regional economy took several hits last year, including the layoffs of hundreds of workers at a major American Airlines maintenance hub and at Hostess Brands Inc. bakery — both in Tulsa.
Also — a major drought that plagued the Midwest continued to take a toll on Oklahoma farmers.
Even with those setbacks, year-end estimates show Oklahoma still ranked among the top 10 states for its overall economic growth rate — including job gains and the expansion of manufacturing jobs.
