WASHINGTON DULLES AIRPORT (WUSA) -- A dead body was found in the landing-gear wheel well of an airplane at Dulles Airport on Saturday, officials said.
The body of the adult male was discovered by ground crew around 1:30 p.m. from a South African Airways aircraft. The Airbus A340 was parked at a remote parking area of the airport, officials said.
This is an active investigation.
There has been no impact on the operation of the airport's terminals or runways, officials said.
