NEW YORK — Two passenger jets were isolated at JFK International Airport in New York because of a terrorist threat on Monday afternoon.
American Airlines Flight 25 from San Francisco was one of them; the other was a Finnair flight from Helsinki.
A caller claimed that a terrorist was hidden in the wheel wells of those planes.
The aircraft were examined by security personnel and were given an "all clear" late Monday afternoon.
No evidence of stowaways was found.
