RICHMOND, Calif. (AP) — Diving crews with the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office have located the fuselage of a plane that crashed into San Francisco Bay over the weekend after a midair collision.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Jimmy Lee said that that the San Francisco Police Department found the fuselage of the Cessna 210 at about 4 p.m. Tuesday using an underwater camera and that diving crews followed up at about 5:30 p.m. to confirm the find.

National Transportation Safety Board investigator Howard Plagens said the midair collision occurred Sunday when the pilot of a Hawker Sea Fury TMK 20 pulled up to the left side of a travelling companion flying a Cessna 210 and collided while attempting a passing maneuver.
