PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix firefighters are mopping up a fire at an oil tanker business that critically injured two men and sent up a massive plume of black smoke over the city.

About 20 engines and ladder trucks were dispatched. Television footage showed firefighters shooting water and foam at the flames and the smoke plume gradually dissipated.

Two men are hospitalized, one with burns on 50 percent of his body and the other with 15 percent.

Nearby Sky Harbor International Airport temporarily shut down its north runway but spokeswoman Heather Lissner says it is back in operation. The temporary closure didn't cause flight delays because planes used two other runways.

However, the light rail system reports delays because some of its tracks are near the blaze.
