FRACKVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A foul-mouthed former Pennsylvania police chief whose incendiary videos on guns and liberals led to his departure from the force says his nascent reality TV show could feature a militia-style group he started last month.

Former Gilberton Chief Mark Kessler spoke Monday at a news conference.

Kessler says he has signed a development deal with Relativity Media. That's the production company behind such reality TV fare as "The Great Food Truck Race" on Food Network and Showtime's "Gigolos."

Kessler says the militia group, called 3 Percent Boots on the Ground, already has a "few thousand" members around the country. The group will require members to supply fatigues, combat boots, body armor, sidearms and military-style rifles.

Kessler gained a measure of Internet fame for his rants against government, but he says the group doesn't advocate insurrection.
