A woman died after a car accident on the N. Central Expressway service road Thursday evening.
The victim was a 25 year-old female who was driving her 2009 silver Toyota Scion when she swerved to the right crossing over two lanes and onto the sidewalk down a grassy bush area off road near Churchill Way.
At that time, she impacted a large steel column with a large sign on it, head on.
Her car then ignited and caught on fire.
A good Samaritan tried to help the victim after seeing the car on fie but was unable because of the fire.
Initially the victim was in the front seat but was found in the back seat of her car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident and the car and victim were severely burned.
