FORT WORTH - New developments came Thursday in the case of a dog shot with an arrow last week, perhaps from a crossbow.
Thursday morning Fort Worth police arrested a neighbor, 47-year-old Christopher Swilley, on animal cruelty charges.
He lives on NW 15th Street, just across from where a large, beloved stray was pierced by an arrow.
The dog has wounds in his chest and both shoulders, but a vet at the humane society said he is recovering well.
