Longhorns and Sooners have been waiting for this one all year. The Red River Showdown kicks off at the State Fair Texas Saturday morning.
When you include the bands, staff, security and fans there will be more than 100,000 people inside the Cotton Bowl Stadium for the game.
Roland Rainey is the general manager of the stadium, and it's his job to get everything ready for legions of fans.
"Well these two teams have what I call professional fans. They're both used to winning," Rainey said.
While the rivalry is intense you'll also find love. Eric and Patty Chausse have been together for more than 20 years. They said their love is strong despite his fondness for OU and hers for UT.
"Our friends were the toughest part, they just don't understand it," Patty said.
The two say the secret to a divided but happy marriage is simple.
"Watch the game in separate rooms," Eric said.
No doubt they and millions more will tune in tomorrow for the big game.
