A 20-year-old Flower Mound woman was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after she drove into a parked Grapevine police cruiser early Friday morning.

Grapevine Police Department spokesman Robert Eberling said the officer was pulled over to the shoulder assisting a stranded motorist in the 1800 block of northbound S.H. 121 at about 2:18 a.m. While the officer was in his car with his emergency lights on, a Toyota Avalon drove into the rear of his cruiser.

Behind the wheel was Mallory May Ford, 20, who was arrested and given a breath test, Eberling said. Her BAC was .16, more than twice the legal limit. She's charged with DWI with a BAC of more than .15.

Eberling said she won't be charged with intoxication assault because the offer was not seriously injured.
