ARLINGTON — Two people were killed early Sunday morning when their pickup truck crashed into a railroad overpass.
Police said the truck was traveling northbound on the on-ramp from Watson Road to Highway 360 when it veered off the pavement and struck a concrete support pillar at 12:45 a.m.
The impact left the vehicle almost unrecognizable.
One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene; the second died later at a hospital.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office identified the driver as 25-year-old Brian Boydston. The name of the other victim was not available Sunday evening.
The on-ramp was closed for several hours during the accident investigation and cleanup.
