FORT WORTH — A picture posted on the Facebook page of a Fort Worth woman may actually be the image of a person involved in a costly and invasive home burglary.

On Monday afternoon, Judy Burkhart returned to her northeast Fort Worth home to find the front door busted in and more than $15,000 in missing memories.

"They took all our jewelry, wedding rings and sentimental things," Burkhart said.

The thieves also took her new iPad, which stays logged into her Facebook account. It wasn't long before she noticed a strange posting on her account.

"It was a picture of a young Hispanic male, with a smirk on his face, and he posted it as me on my page," Burkhart said.

Fort Worth police are investigating. No one knows for sure yet how the teen's photo ties into the case, but Burkhart said it was posted around the same time the burglary took place, leading her to believe the young man at least knows something about what happened.

Neighbors and family are circulating the posted picture in the hopes of getting a lead or tip.

Burkhart said she will also have to shell out close to $1,500 for a new front door.
