FORT WORTH -- The price of pecans is apparently too much for a group of nutty thieves in a Fort Worth neighborhood.
A report filed with the Fort Worth Police Department claims four people drove up to a woman's home in the 7000 block of Rockdale Road and stole pecans out of her front yard.
According to the report, the woman believes the pecan pirates hit sometime between 7 p.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. on Monday.
The case is considered a theft and is being investigated.
