ARLINGTON — Police are looking for suspects after gunfire at an Arlington billiards club early Sunday morning.
One person was killed and three others were injured.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. in the parking lot of Jumbo Pockets in the 2700 block of Majesty Drive, near Interstate 30 and Highway 360.
Investigators said employees escorted a crowd of people out of the club after an altercation inside. Once outside, witness reported seeing a man shooting at a group of people in the parking lot, according to a news release issued by Arlington police.
Authorities said the original incident may have started with an argument with the bouncer. The suspects left, but reportedly returned... and then started shooting.
One person with a gunshot wound was taken to the hospital by private vehicle; that person later died. The medical examiner's office identified him as 24-year-old Ketron Nathan of Arlington.
Three other shooting victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Their conditions were not available Sunday morning.
It is not yet clear if the victims were specifically targeted, or if they or the suspect were involved in the altercation that occurred inside the bar. Detectives continue to speak to multiple witnesses and the injured victims.
By Sunday afternoon, the billiards hall was still closed and investigators were seen taking pictures near the front door. A police car blocked the street and crime tape stretched across the parking lot.
