NORTH RICHLAND HILLS — Taxes are going up in North Richland Hills.

The City Council approved a property tax hike Monday night.

Currently, homeowners pay 57 cents per $100 of property value. The increase approved takes the rate up to 61 cents.

For a house worth $122,000, that's a $49 bump, about $4 a month or 13 cents a day.
