Most of North Texas was under a freeze warning or a frost advisory.
We normally don't have to talk about these things until the second or third week of November, but early Saturday, low temperatures dipped into the 30s across all of the region. Fort Worth, Mineral Wells, Graham and Gainesville hit the freezing mark.
By Sunday morning, we expect to see freezing temperatures in many more cities, especially north and west of Dallas-Fort Worth, where a freeze warning has been issued. The area includes Denton and Collin Counties and counties.
A frost advisory is in effect for Dallas and Fort Worth south to Hillboro, Waco and Corsicana.
Be sure to cover up your sensitive vegetation if you expect it to survived until next week, when high temperatures once again return to the 70s and 80s.
